I have the need to extract videos from footage I've captured. I've done this many times before, but this time, I'm running into issues. I had to save about two hours of footage for the police, so I tried doing it with 'direct merge' because it said it was faster.
Well, it was faster, but the quality wasn't what I needed, so I did it again with direct merge off. My issue is that the quality is still what it was with direct merge on, even though I now have it off. I've rebooted several times, added more memory, more CPUs, but still have the same issue. I'm saving it in the WMV9 format. Any help would be appreciated.
